Antwerp
On my way to Antwerp. Since we have our car we have not used the train
any more, or at least a lot less than we used to. It gives a certain
calming feeling to sit, read a newspaper and look over the fields and
villages that pass by.
I agree that a car has a lot of advantages but a train has a certain
"romantic" aspect that lacks in a car. Here you have less stress of
avoiding trafficjams or finding the right way. You just sit and are
driven to wherever it takes you. At this time of the day you can pick
your seat and be almost on your own in a compartment.
I hope the way back leaves me with the same rested feeling.
